Gareth Thomas Davies
Role: Company Owner & Lead Sports Therapist
Gareth holds a Level 5 Diploma in Sports & Clinical Therapy. Gareth qualified in 2007 and began his career working in professional sport as a sports therapist with Ospreys RFC / Dragons RFC & Cardiff Blues RFC. He is now the Lead Therapist for the semi-professional rugby team, Bridgend Ravens RFC.
In 2013, he decided to open his own clinic, GTD Sports Therapy, and has built the business into the success it is today. He has embraced new technologies and advances in accelerating the body’s healing process following surgery / injury, by investing in equipment that can deliver Shockwave & Tecar Therapies.
His continuous professional development qualifies him in many therapies, namely Medical Accupuncture (Dry Needling), Spinal Manipulation, Cupping, Sports Massage, Shockwave Therapy and Tecar Therapy, to name a few.
Regan Cooper
Role: Sports Therapist
Regan joined the team in May 2024 and has a Level 5 Diploma in Sports & Clinical Therapy. She studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University and holds a degree in Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation & Sports Massage.
She works alongside Gareth delivering therapies within the clinic environment and is also part of the medical team for Semi-Professional rugby team, Bridgend Ravens RFC.
Michelle Mole
Role: Sports Massage Therapist
Michelle has a level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage.
She was one of Gareth’s students at Bridgend College and as a ‘standout’ student, Gareth asked her to join the clinical team in 2015.
Sarah Lawton
Role: Clinic Management & Reception
Sarah has been volunteering at the clinic since 2015.
Her duties include all aspects of clinic management / reception cover and importantly, she looks after the business finances.
Dawn Arthur
Role: Reception
Dawn has been with the clinic since 2019.
Having retired from her administrative role with Bridgend College, she now assists us with reception cover.
